Requirements

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Micah 6:8

Requirements from God:

Do justly – be fair in your dealings with others (treat others the way you would like to be treated) do right before God and man.

Golden rule Luke 6:31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

Love mercy – (kindness toward God) we need to love God with all our heart – we can show this by being kind and loving to those around us.

Luke 10:27 … Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

Walk humbly with thy God – walk with God daily. We walk with God by being constantly with Him. He needs to be in everything we do – thoughts and actions. When you are daily walking with God others will know.

Psalm 63:1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

Psalm 86:11 Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.

As we put into practice the things that God requires from us, we might need to change some actions and attitudes. Ask God, through prayer, to show you how to do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with Him.

Have a blessed day,
Donna
