Beauty in God’s time

9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? 10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. 11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. Ecclesiastes 3:9-11

The theme of time continues in these verses. God has made everything beautiful in HIS time, not ours, but HIS. As mere humans we have a hard time with anything not in our control.

No one knows the work that God has established from beginning to end. Our finite minds cannot discern all the beauty God has created. We see the world in its fallen state; just imagine what it looked like before the fall of man.

His Creation
And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:25

He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud. Job 26:12

By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent. Job 26:13

Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand? Job 26:14

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; Psalm 8:3

For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. Psalm 50:10

He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Psalm 147:4

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: Matthew 6:28

His Power
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1Corinthians 2:9

To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Jude 1:25

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Revelation 22:13

Spend a few minutes reflecting and praising God for His creation and His great power.

Have a blessed day,
Donna
