Righteousness vs Wickedness

14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. 15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. 16 And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. 17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. Ecclesiastes 3:14-17

In his position Solomon observed many things. He had opportunities many of us will never have but he witnessed lots of corruption.  He saw “the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.” There were crooked judges and corrupt courts. Even in Solomon’s time the laws were being altered.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12

Like Solomon we need to keep in our heart that God is the righteous judge. God will judge in His time, “for there is a time for every purpose and for every work.”

In the mean time, “put on the whole armour of God that you may be able to stand in the evil day.”  Ephesians 6:13-18

Have a blessed day,
Donna
