Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.As I read this verse, I pictured the Bunker Hill Monument in Boston. A monument built from 1827-1843 to commemorate the Battle of Bunker Hill. It is still standing tall and elegant. This monument was built by the hands of man.
The name of the Lord is like a strong tower. Strong towers are made with brick and mortar. The doors are thick with strong locks. The enemy cannot break through. All we need to do is run, in the Hebrew it means rush, to the strong tower. God will engulf us. He will take care of us and protect us. Run to the strong tower, He is always there. What are you waiting for?
