Thank You for giving to the Lord

And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.
2 Corinthians 8:5

Each and everything you do for the Lord makes a difference. We will not know the end result until we go to heaven.

I thank the Lord for bringing into my life a variety of teachers. I learned from some what to do, I learned from others what not to do, but the Lord used all to teach me.

I thank the Lord for a young woman named Susan (we worked together, many moons ago) who invited me to church and shared the gospel. It was a few years before I accepted the Lord but Susan became my friend and shared her Lord.

We don’t know how we touch others but we do know how others have touched us. As you listen to this song if a name comes to your mind, call, write or email them and let them know how they have touched your life. Be thankful for the people in your life, family, friends or acquaintances. Be thankful for the people who took the time to share the gospel with you.

Have a blessed day,
Donna

Let’s be honest

I’m on a little rant – I am so tired of people not being honest. They will tell you one thing to your face, and then you will get an email or voice mail saying something totally different. Let’s just be honest we are all adults if you disagree with something please let me know. We can agree to disagree. We don’t all need to go to the same church, the same school or even the same grocery store.

This world is made up of choices. We have a choice to choose how we live. We have a choice to attend a certain church or a certain school. We make choices each and every day. We are also responsible for the choices we make.

Improvement can only come if we are honest with each other. I am not talking about being rude and insulting but be honest. Be honest when you speak to each other. We do not need to say what we think the other person wants us to say. When you can’t think of something honest to say then make a choice to be quiet.

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Ephesians 4:25

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: Ephesians 4:15

Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men. 2 Corinthians 8:21

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8

Have a blessed day,
